Absolutely delicious food, much of which is grown locally or on-site! Some of our favorite from a recent week+ in France. The vegetarian main course was simply puréed carrots alongside a mix of onions, shallot, raisins (, and something else), but it was fantastic! Great cardamom cookies and cream of white asparagus soup as well. A highlight was also our very informative and charismatic server. She spoke enough English to get main points across, but understandably the nuanced details and jokes were in French, and having our local friends help translate those was great. Merci à tous!

El mejor restaurante que hemos comido últimamente. Todo era perfecto. El sitio, el ambiente, las camareras vestidas como en aquella época. La comida muy elaborada y bien servida. Los precios muy razonables. Nos ha gustado todo.

Cette authentique auberge est située au Clos Lucé, au fond du parc du château de Léonard de Vinci. L’accueil chaleureux et sympathique nous plonge instantanément dans l’ambiance du XVIème siècle. A travers ses explications, ses anecdotes, son dialecte et son costume d’époque, la servante participe grandement à cette expérience immersive. À travers un menu unique, la cuisine nous fait découvrir des produits frais sublimés par des épices (clou de girofle, cannelle, safran…) et des associations oubliés. Les enfants ont adoré se mettre dans la peau d’un chevalier. Un voyage dans le temps à renouveler !
